September 2008 – Power Catalyst deploys integration components for energy business applications

Supporting the integration of multiple special energy business applications, Power Catalyst has completed and deployed several adapters in an enterprise service bus configuration. The adapters convert the application's native interfaces into CIM/CME compliant payloads for delivery to repositories and other business applications. The applications include OSISoft's PI, The Structure Group's nMarket, ERCOT's portal, Itron's MV90, and PRT Inc.'s forecasting service. The adapters will be upgraded in the coming months to include several enterprise features, including failover, monitoring, and certain types of validation.
