August 2008 – Power Catalyst rolls out first release of business repository platform

As part of its ongoing product development effort, Power Catalyst has deployed its first release of Energy Data Hub, its energy business repository platform. The platform is being used to deliver on full business repository / business intelligence projects, and tailored specifically to the customers’ specifications. The platform is CIM/CME compliant, and harvests data from business applications that is used for daily analysis, operational root cause investigations, and load forecast improvement. It includes versioning, source system identification, data life cycle management, master data validation and reconciliation, and other data management capabilities specifically designed for energy data.
