March 2008 – Power Catalyst wins custom master data management application

As part of an extension to other ongoing work, Power Catalyst has been hired to design and assist in the development of a custom master data management application focused on generation resources. The application contains hundreds of generation attributes, and will be used by the generation operators, traders, and schedulers of one of the largest utilities in the US. This custom application leverages Power Catalyst design principles under the hood, and is able to reconcile with a business repository already under development at the customer. The project recognizes our specialization in data management for the energy domain, and ability to provide expertise and guidance to these complicated problems.
