January 2008 – Power Catalyst completes design and beta release of non-stop SOA

Power Catalyst has completed its design of a new non-stop SOA for a global systems vendor and its RTO partner.  The design is supported by a beta release of most services in the architecture, which were co-developed for Siemens.  The new framework leverages utility integration standards to distance itself from the closed architectures of other software providers.  In this objective, it embodies Power Catalyst's philosophy of opening data ownership and enabling information transparency for an enterprise. 

This milestone represents a technological pinnacle of Power Catalyst's integration architecture and designs, aligned with our recent achievements in repository designs and implementation.  By pushing the boundaries of both integration and repository capabilities to new heights for the wholesale energy industry, we are putting our customers' visions of transparency, responsiveness, and excellence within reach.
