July 2006: CAISO selects Power Catalyst to integrate meter data

Leveraging its deep knowledge of meter data and settlements systems, Power Catalyst is selected to integrate these two key operational systems for the CAISO.

The existing CAISO meter data solution needs to be refined and its data redirected into the replacement CAISO settlement system.  With a completely new data model and calculation paradigm in the new system, the data needs to be transformed and aligned in a highly efficient manner that eliminates performance problems.  Using a small set of key Power Catalyst technologies, the project could be completed quickly and reliably.  

This project was completed in September 2006.
