June 2005: Power Catalyst deploys critical Data Management Infrastructure for Midwest ISO.

A Power Catalyst team, working in tandem with MISO's IT Department, Change Management Team, and Data Management Team, deployed the first module of MISO's after-the-fact Business Repository. The system serves as the collector of all market data, and painstakingly assembles a seamless history that is used for reporting, market monitoring, investigations, resettlements, and other after-the-fact uses. As a result, MISO will be able to improve the consistency of data across all business areas, and remove select after-the-fact data from the actual production systems to maintain performance metrics. The module is a key component of MISO's broader information management strategy. Power Catalyst implemented the data design and ETL framework, coordinated the systems architecture, performed initial startup operations and user support of the module before transitioning it to MISO employees.
