February 2004: Power Catalyst participates at the EUCI Conference on Settlements and Clearing for Efficient Energy Markets.

The conference brings together professionals concerned with the settlements and clearing of energy markets. The discussions highlighted a significant distinction between the application of these terms and concepts to energy markets and trading environments on one hand, and to the financial operations of a grid operator on the other. Power Catalyst will be able to bring these insights to grid operators considering the facilitation of trading in their jurisdiction.
