Power Catalyst has delivered data management solutions to ISO/RTOs for over four years. The work performed for ISO/RTO customers has included:

• Design a service-oriented, non-stop operations architecture for a major vendor's RTO partner.  Co-implement the beta release of the entire SOA framework.
• Assemble the complete data interface catalog for all market and grid operations of an RTO and develop specific aggregated performance, volumetric and functional metrics.
• Support the CIM/CME data mapping integration effort connecting all operations systems using a common enterprise message bus, for an RTO’s nodal market transition program.
• Develop the RFP for an enterprise portal serving internal and external data and application users. Procure the portal technology, negotiate the $1M license agreement, and bundle it with best practices in preparation for deployment.
• Launch a central data management organization that acts as an internal and external clearing house for business information. Develop all business processes, hire fulltime staff, organize governance and transition to fulltime management.
• Design and build a business repository framework that was adopted by fulltime staff and deployed across multiple data sources.
• Leverage the framework to deploy a major business repository that serves as the system of reference for all after-the-fact market operation data.
• Design, build and deploy a collection of related data marts that serve specific reporting and data mining needs.
• Design and build a data correction framework to implement major FERC market resettlements orders.
• Design and build specific data correction modules that implement FERC market resettlements order valued over $50M.
• Design the complete data catalog of a public-facing reporting framework, publishing all market and grid operations data in compliance with FERC requirements. Design the complete integration map to all data sources.
• Design the program-wide integration data model for a complete market redesign. Develop data mappings to existing and future data sources.
• Design a complete suite of data validations for settlements in preparation of market launch.
• Design a complete dispute management framework and business processes, and support system development.
• Integrate meter data with a new settlements system.
